The First Spark

Hands touch parts for the very first time

Every Circuit kid starts here — no experience required, no wrong answers. They open the parts kit, feel the weight of a real resistor, and ask their first question: 'What does this do?' That question is the beginning of everything.

  • Soldering a real LED circuit in the first session
  • Age-calibrated kits for 6–8 and 8–10 year olds
  • Instructors trained to say "great question" and mean it
  • Take-home project every single session

Assembling the Machine

Screws go in, chassis takes shape

Week two and the robot starts to look like a robot. Kids attach motors to the frame, route color-coded wires to the controller board, and discover that building something real is satisfyingly hard — and completely doable.

  • Color-coded wiring harness eliminates guesswork
  • Real screwdrivers, real chassis, real satisfaction
  • Structured enough to succeed, open enough to tinker
  • Peer pairs so no one gets stuck alone

Telling It What to Do

A tablet, some blocks, and suddenly it moves

No semicolons. No syntax errors. Just drag-and-drop logic blocks that snap together like the LEGO set that started this whole obsession. When the robot turns left because they told it to, something clicks — literally and figuratively.

  • Block coding for 6–10 year olds (no typing required)
  • Python text coding for 11–14 year olds ready to level up
  • Immediate visual feedback — the robot reacts in seconds
  • Progression path from blocks → Python → full autonomy

The Big Moment

Robot hits the course. Classmates go wild.

The pool-noodle obstacle course is set. The cardboard ramps are taped down. The robot their kid built and programmed is at the start line. When it clears the first gate, the room erupts. This is the moment parents drive across town for.

  • Mini-tournament at the end of every 8-week session
  • Custom course changes every term — no two runs the same
  • Kids present their robot to the group (confidence included)
  • Certificate, photo, and a robot to take home

What Families Say

Real kids. Real builds.
Real excitement.

🌟

My daughter built her first robot at Circuit and hasn't stopped talking about it. She's already asking when the next session starts — this is the after-school program I've been searching for.

We used Circuit for our homeschool co-op's STEM block. The instructors met every kid exactly where they were — our 7-year-olds were soldering LEDs while the 12-year-olds were writing obstacle-avoidance code.

🎂

We booked Circuit for my son's 10th birthday. Twelve kids walked in not knowing a resistor from a battery. Two hours later they were racing their bots. Best party we've ever thrown.
